Apple's New Tablet PC,Ipad Not Upto The Hype

The long wait rumors are over and at last, the Apple tablet PC is a reality.  The Ipad boasts of a 9.7 inch display, it is half inch thick and weighs a pound and a half.  It can also be called an advanced version of an iphone.  The apple tablet PC Ipad is wi-fi and bluetooth enabled and it is almost similar in function to an Iphone except that you cannot make calls.  Apple CEO, Steve Jobs announced that the Ipad will run almost any application from the app store.  Also, Apple has introduced iwork and ibook.  A person would be able to work on office documents through iwork suite. and can also buy books online through ibook.  Suprisingly, Apple has priced the Ipad cheaper than it was expected.  The entry level 16GB Ipad will cost 499$, 32GB 599$ and 64GB 699$.  It will also be available in 3G version and it will cost 130$ more than the non 3G variants. 

However, Apple new tablet PC Ipad does not quite lives up to the hype. It lacks on the following feature that people expected.

• No New User Interface(UI):
  Everyone expected that the apple's new Ipad will come with ground breaking User Interface just like the Iphone. But Ipad user interface is similar to Iphone's touch interface. Though it has a virtual life size keyboard.
• No Flash Support:
  Yea, still no flash support. It was expected that after berefting Iphone and Ipod touchof flash support, Apple will come up with flash support in Ipad. But it is still missing.
• No Camera:
  Perhaps, It is the most disappointing thing. The new Ipad lacks a built-in camera. That's disappointing because even Iphone and Ipod touch have it. And also there was a buzz in the wall street that Apple had been toying with a facial recognition software.
• You Can't Replace The Battery:
  Though the ipad will come with 10 hours of battery life and 30 days of standby time it will be enclosed in an icase just like Iphone. So users cant replace the battery.
• No TV Subscriptions:
  Earlier rumors had it that Apple's new tablet PC, Ipad would come with a TV subscription. But that was not the case to be.
